Software Developer

I guide AI agents to build products people want, with every change reviewed and verified by me before it ships.

Class booking

Class Booking Flow

A booking flow for a ceramics studio that takes a beginner from picking a class to a confirmed seat in under a minute.

  • Four short steps, with a summary that updates as you go
  • A calendar that shows availability before you click
  • Forms that help: inline checks, clear errors, nothing lost going back
  • UX flows
  • Forms
  • Accessibility
  • Mobile first

Order management

Operations Dashboard

An orders dashboard for an outdoor gear shop's small team, built for a busy morning of packing and shipping.

  • What needs attention first, then the details
  • Search, filters and sorting that keep up with the team
  • Bulk actions, keyboard shortcuts and a compact view
  • Data UI
  • Information design
  • Design systems
  • Keyboard UX

How I work

AI agents do much of the building. I decide what gets built, check everything they produce, and answer for what ships.

Pick a step to see who does what, and the guardrail behind it.

01 Brief: Start from the people who will use it.

What I do

Define who it's for, what they need, and what done looks like.

What the agents do

Nothing yet. No code is written until the goal is clear.

Guardrail

A written brief and a project rules file (design rules, constraints, past decisions) that every agent session reads first.

02 Plan: Turn the goal into small, checkable steps.

What I do

Choose the architecture and break the work into tasks small enough to review in one sitting.

What the agents do

Propose approaches and surface trade-offs. I approve, adjust, or redirect.

Guardrail

Scoped tasks on their own branch. Nothing goes straight to main.

03 Build: Agents write the code. I steer.

What I do

Watch the work as it happens, cut scope creep, and keep it to the brief.

What the agents do

Implement the task, following the project's rules and conventions.

Guardrail

Hard limits agents can't relax on their own: no new dependencies, a strict security policy, no inline scripts.

04 Verify: Done means proven, not claimed.

What I do

Run it for real: browser checks at desktop and phone sizes, console errors, layout, and frame rate.

What the agents do

Write and run the checks, and fix what fails.

Guardrail

An agent saying it's done is not evidence. Screenshots, measurements, and tests are.

05 Review: Every change gets my eyes before it ships.

What I do

Read the diff, question the choices, and send back anything that misses the brief.

What the agents do

Address the feedback and resubmit. The loop runs until it's right.

Guardrail

Rejected work goes back to Build. Nothing ships just because it compiles.

06 Ship: Merge, release, and keep the standard.

What I do

Merge, deploy, and update the handoff notes so the next session starts where this one ended.

What the agents do

Prepare the release and document what changed.

Guardrail

Only reviewed, verified work reaches main, and every change can be traced and reverted.

Fast because of the agents. Right because of the review.
